1. Scope of Services:

  • The holistic practitioner provides services such as holistic counselling, meditation and mindfulness coaching, among others, as agreed upon with the client.

  • The practitioner will endeavour to provide services in a professional and compassionate manner, tailored to the individual needs and goals of the client.

2. Client Responsibility:

  • The client acknowledges that holistic services are complementary and alternative approaches to wellness and should not replace medical or psychological treatment.

  • The client is responsible for disclosing any medical or psychological conditions, medications, or other relevant information that may impact the provision of holistic services.

3. Confidentiality:

  • The practitioner will maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information shared during sessions, except in cases where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent harm to the client or others.

4. Payment and Cancellation:

  • Payment for services is due at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed upon between the practitioner and the client.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling of appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a full fee payment.

5. Professional Boundaries:

  • The practitioner will maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and refrain from engaging in any form of dual relationship that could compromise the therapeutic process.

  • Clients are encouraged to communicate openly with the practitioner about any concerns regarding boundaries or the therapeutic relationship.

6. Results and Expectations:

  • While the practitioner will make every effort to support the client in achieving their wellness goals, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

  • The client acknowledges that individual results may vary and that progress depends on various factors, including the client's commitment to the process.

7. Liability Waiver:

  • The client understands that holistic services involve inherent risks and releases the practitioner from any liability for injuries or damages that may occur during or as a result of participation in sessions.

8. Professional Conduct:

  • The practitioner agrees to adhere to ethical standards and codes of conduct relevant to their profession, including but not limited to maintaining professionalism, integrity, and respect for clients.

9. Termination of Services:

  • Either party may terminate the provision of services at any time for any reason. The practitioner reserves the right to terminate services if they determine that they are unable to effectively meet the client's needs.

10. Amendments:

  • These terms and conditions may be amended or updated from time to time at the discretion of the practitioner. Clients will be notified of any changes in advance.

By engaging the services of the transformative counsellor, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
